So you think you've found a bug in Monkey Shines ?
90% of the bug reports which we have recieved so far have been cured by carefully following the instructions in the 'troubleshooting' section of the manual. Please try this before contacting us. This will allow us more time to work on improving Monkey Shines.
Secondly, if you have internet access, check the Fantasoft web page to see if we have released an update which fixes your problem.
However, if you have followed all these instructions, and you still can't get it to work, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
When you send in a report, please try to give us as much information as possible. At the very least, we will need to know what sort of mac you have, how much RAM, which version of system software. A complete list of extensions/control panels will also help us.
Finally, we may need to contact you for more information. We can't know or guess everything, and there may be something which we need to know which isn't in your original report. Often without this additional information we will not be able to help you. It is also useful if you tell us if our suggestions work.
As a last word then, a bug report like 'it crashes, you suck' doesn't give us much to go on (and we have had them). If you send us a report like this, don't expect much help. Give us plenty of information so that we can reproduce the problem and we will do everything we can to fix it. But remember, we wouldn't have released Monkey Shines if it crashed any of our Macs, so we may not be able to reproduce problems.
